According to Article 12 (Presumption of conformity of products) of Directive 2014/34/EU on ATEX, products which are in conformity with harmonised standards or parts thereof the references of which have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union shall be presumed to be in conformity with the essential health and safety requirements set out in Annex II of the Directive ATEX covered by those standards or parts thereof.
