The standards, standardization documents and other publications that GENORMA.COM distributes, hereinafter referred to as standards, are subject to acceptance by the client of the general terms and conditions of use and copyright requirements as set out below.
Before making an order for the purchase of standards, you should carefully familiarize yourself with the general terms and conditions for the sale of standards.
When you buy standards, this implies that you accept the terms set out here. To verify this, you will need to press "Yes" at the appropriate place at registration before making your order. If you do not click Yes, you will not be able to place your order.
These conditions may be subject to change without prior announcement at any time when Genorma.COM deems it necessary.
For the purposes of the terms of sale, the following terms and definitions have been adopted:
Standard means National, European or International standards, standardisation documents, draft standards, publications that Genorma provides under these Terms and Conditions, in full respect of the CEN, CENELEC, ETSI, ISO and IEC Policies on dissemination, sales and copyright of Standards and Publications.
National standard means a standard that has been developed, adopted and approved by a national standardization body and is publicly available for sale.
A Customer may buy standards via Genorma.com through a sales order placed through GENORMA.COM website.
Orders are placed by the customer using Genorma automated ordering system via Genorma.COM page (www.genorma.com), or by a Genorma employee.
GENORMA.COM confirms acceptance of the contract.
Payment is made via the online secured electronic payment system Stripe (Stripe.com).
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data specified in the order. If customers' order requires further clarification or additional information, a Genorma employee will contact you within 2 working days.
After verification of payment, orders are automatically performed and executed, except for reasons beyond the control of Genorma.
Due to the nature of the transaction, no return payment is allowed once the standard has been downloaded or access for view only has been performed for the first time (see section 13).
The prices of the standards are indicated on Genorma website.
Registered members of Genorma, may enjoy a discount on the price of standards and standardisation documents after certain level of sales are reached. The applicable discount will be indicated in the platform before buying the next standards or contracting additional services.
After certification of the payment by Genorma, the ordered online standards are available for download immediately.
In case of exceptional delays for reasons beyond the control of Genorma.COM, standards may be available for download after the following day.
The standards will be available to the customer within one month. If during this time he does not have the opportunity to lower the standards, he should contact via email to info@genorma.com (or phone number (+34) 91 047 43 82) to activate the order, after which it will have 8 hours to download it, unless otherwise agreed.
The standard, which is distributed In electronic format (PDF format) is subject to copyright and distribution rights of Genorma and cannot be stored in third parties platforms, copied, transferred, networked or re-sold in any way.
The standard in electronic format(PDF format) is encrypted and provided with an inscription specific to each user located at the bottom of each page. This inscription contains the following information:
The STANDARD in PDF format is intended for one client. The client purchases the right to store this file on his personal computer (for instances where access to the user's network is required, see section 9) and to make a backup in electronic format.
From the PDF file, the client can print and save a single copy in paper form. This printed copy can be used for internal use in its organization without being copied or reproduced or resold in any form.

In the event of a computer failure, standard files may be transferred to another computer, provided that they are deleted from the original computer, and their use with the new computer is in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
Where a GENORMA.COM customer wishes to familiarise himself with the text of a standard(s), he/she may choose the 'providing access to read standards online'.
The service provides the customer with the opportunity to read on a computer selected standards, available in the electronic database of GENORMA.COM standards, for a period of 5 days after activating the order.
Reading orders are stated online by the customer via Genorma.COM website (www.genorma.com).
The price for reading the standards online is indicated on Genorma.COM website according to the official price list.
Payment is made via credit cards accepted through the secure online payments platform stripe.com.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data specified in the order.
After certification of the payment by genorma, the ordered standards for reading online are available immediately, except in cases where there is a delay for reasons beyond the control of Genorma.COM.
The standards will be available to the customer for reading within 5 calendar days from the date of authentication of the payment, for which the customer will be notified by a corresponding inscription in the order.
The standard, which is distributed for reading inelectronic format (PDF format), is subject to copyright and distribution rights of Genorma.COM and cannot be stored, printed, copied, transferred, networked or re-sold in any way or in any format, both in full and in parts thereof.
The standard in electronic format(PDF format) is encrypted and equipped with the inscription "INTENDED FOR READING", located diagonally on each page.

For the online reading access service, the terms of use under item 7 and all copyright protection terms described in this document apply.
When an GENORMA.COM customer wishes to keep up-to-date the collection of standards with which he works, he can use the service of subscription for up-to-date standard.
The service provides the ability of the client to use the updated standards and standardisation documents by receiving periodically information about them about:
The information is provided to customers via their private area in GENORMA.COM, or by e-mail and/or in the customer's profile to the respective order.
GENORMA.COM employees shall carry out an initial consultation of the actuality of the selected standards and submit information to the customer about the current state of these standards and the possible need for an update. After final specification of the order, the customer receives monthly information about changes to the selected standards.
The subscription is for one year, after which it can be renewed.
If the customer wishes to include new standards in the collection, it will be necessary to place a new order for them.
The prices for the service are set in the Price List for the sale of standards and standardization documents and for the services performed by Genorma.
Where a Genorma customer wishes to receive advice or information on issues affecting or related to national, European and international standards, as well as to receive answers to questions and guidelines related to the application of the standards in force, there is a possibility con contract such service.
The Expert Information service is an expression of written information provided by experts from Genorma on a specific request from a client (normally, on standards, conformity assessment or legislation). The client sends an inquiry to GENORMA.COM via email and within 5 working days Genorma.COM may issue an offer for the services, including a price and a time limit for the provision of the service.
The price for the consulting service is determined by negotiation depending on the complexity of the case and the number of hours required to prepare the expert opinion. In the event that an expert opinion cannot be provided in the particular case, the customer will be informed about this.
The Customer confirms the interest to receive the information service according to the offer made by advance payment of 100% of the price of the service.
The user accepts that the standards are not intended for further sale or rental or transmission to any third party.
According to the National Standardization Act in Bulgaria (tax SG 88/04; 11. 2005, in force as of 05.05.2006), the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization (BDS) holds the copyright to Bulgarian standards and Bulgarian standardisation documents and has the exclusive right to issue, reproduce, distribute and sell them.
Genorma is a platform authorised to disseminate standards on behalf of BDS and other relevant national standardization bodies, and similar copyright principles and laws apply to national standards from other countries that may be distributed through Genorma.com
The User may not copy, reproduce, publish, transfer to another server or send as mail, transmit or distribute in any other way not so far any part of a Bulgarian standard or Bulgarian standardization document without the written permission of GENORMA.COM.
The User undertakes to take all necessary actions to prevent unauthorized third parties from accessing GENORMA.COM standards.
In case of violation of the copyright of relevant national standardization bodies or GENORMA.COM, the infringer shall be liable for civil and administrative criminal liability under the Copyright and Related Rights Act, including monetary compensation for the damages suffered and lost profits.
The customer is responsible for choosing the standards and any advice or recommendation given to the client by a GENORMA.COM employee regarding suitability for a specific purpose, application or use of a standard is intended for guidance only.

Our employee will contact you within 2 working days after reception of the request to provide the specific conditions that apply to the request.
Reproduction is strictly limited to the number of copies for which permission has been granted. For each subsequent reproduction, it is necessary to seek separate authorisation from Genorma.
In the event of a need to reproduce additional copies of paper to purchased standards, for example for meetings, the customer shall pay 40 % of the price of the standard for each subsequent copy.
To this end, written authorisation must be sought from GENORMA.
The following text must be recorded on the first page of each copy:
'Copied from (organisation name) with the permission of GENORMA. GENORMA is not responsible for the quality of the copies made.
Where the customer wishes to use standards in electronic format on his computer network, this is subject to a mutual agreement with GENORMA.COM. The annual fee charged depends on the number of users who will use the standards in a network, the number of offices/branches (for organisations located in more than one place) and the number and price of standards. When calculating the fee, each office/branch counts as an additional user.
When reproducing standards or parts of standards in the organisation's documentation, such as manuals, expert decisions or audits, regardless of the type of medium (paper or PDF format), the following principles shall apply:
It is not necessary to ask permission to create company standards based on the purchased standards, as long as the reference of the original standard is indicated.
The use of a standardised nomenclature, codes, symbols, indications and tables of characteristics constitutes a legal application of the standards and is exempt from fees.
GENORMA in cooperation with the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization promote the use of standards for training purposes.
When an order is placed on site in Genorma.COM to purchase more copies of a standard for learning purposes, the customer (the educational establishment) pays the full price of the first copy and 20% of the price of the standard for each subsequent copy. Special arrangements may be negotiated for high number of copies.
To this end, written authorisation must be sought from Genorma. GENORMA is not responsible for the quality of the copies made by the customer.
The fee for reproduction of parts of the standard shall be 50 % of the price of the standard, determined in proportion to the total number of pages and the number of copies made.
Copies must bear the name of the educational establishment.
If educational establishments act as publishers of publications that are sold, they must pay for this fee as specified in paragraph 12.
To reproduce standards in publications or on products sold by book publishers, developing software, or other products or services related with standards, the following principles shall apply:
Where parts of standards are reproduced in brochures or other promotional material, GENORMA shall grant authorisation only if those parts are presented in a way that is clearly different from the original edition of the standard.
In this case, the fee payable for Genorma.COM shall be 10 % of the value determined on the basis of the price of the standard, the number of pages to be reproduced and a coefficient depending on the number of copies printed, see item 2.
Except in the event of an error made by Genorma, no return orders for PDF format standards delivered online are accepted, nor are orders for such documents credited.
Genorma will replace all products that have shown defects and will re-send shipments or standards online at its own expense.
