Machines for mechanical processing of minerals and similar solid materials - Safety - Part 1: General

Scope

This standard includes 4 parts: Part 1: General. Part 1 covers general safety requirements as well as safety requirements resulting form the combination of single machines to plants. Part 2 to 4 cover the following machine types; part 2: Feeding machinery: Machines which are used to control the rate at which material fed to a mechanical processing plant; part 3: Crushing and milling machinery: Machines used for the size reduction of rock and mineral products; Part 4: Sizing and sorting machines: used to physically separate material into different sizes.
