Scope

This document introduces quality tools which can be used with quality management systems to:
a) maintain compliance;
b) describe trends and process characteristics;
c) focus on areas for improvement.
Guidance on their selection and application is provided with the aim of providing a resource to practitioners and promoting the appropriate use of quality tools.
