Scope

This document provides requirements for the design of packaging containing plastic to allow for compatibility with collecting, sorting and recycling processes as well as readiness to fulfill the quality assessment of plastic recyclates for use in products.

This document describes generic packaging recyclability levels that will be assigned following a standardized evaluation process.
