Scope

This standard lists the hazards, specifically related to the energy source, that can be caused by power tools driven by pneumatic energy sources, hydraulic energy sources and internal combustion engines. It specifies requirements for stated aspects of safety during the foreseeable life and subsequent disposal of the power tool. Note 1: CEN TC 270 Internal combustion engines - Safety Requirements has started work. At the time of issue of this standard there is no result form TC 270 available.
