Lead-acid starter batteries - Part 1: General requirements and methods of test prEN 50342-1

Scope

A new revision for EN 50342-1 needs to be prepared to cover following topics:
- Solve contradictions concerning test sequence and pass / fail criteria for pre testing
- Add Annex ZZ to harmonize test procedure for capacity determination according Batteries Regulation (EU) 2023/1542
- Adapt marking requirements to European Batteries Regulation (EU) 2023/1542
- Add new annex with an optional test high heat cycling test procedure (HTE-Test)
