Scope

This part of EN xxxx establishes the generic ergonomic principles for personal protective equipment (PPE) considered by those preparing product standards. It provides background information and guidance on the application of these principles which is intended to help those responsible for the drafting of product standards and the design of PPE. It also gives an introduction to subsequent parts of the standard which are a series of application standards that can be used in the preparation of product standards for personal protective equipment.
