Fruit and vegetable juices - Determination of the ethanol content of fruit juices - Method using gas chromatography prEN 13690

Scope

This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of ethanol in fruit juices and fruit juice concentrates. It is also applicable to vegetable juices, a wide range of sugar composite goods and other foodstuffs containing ethanol up to a concentration of ethanol of 20 ml/kg. The method can also be applied to products where the concentration of ethanol exceeds 20 ml/kg but not more than 100 ml/kg provided that an appropriate dilution is made to sample distillate.
