This European Standard contains the requirements for safety for the design and installation of pan mills, wet and dry, used in the processing of materials and minerals for the manufacture of fine, heavy clay and refractory ceramic products including discharge devices, e.g. collecting plate. Where equipment upstream/downstream presents a risk in combination with pan mills, this is dealt with under this standard.
