Machines and plants for mining and tooling of natural stone - Safety requirements for chain and belt slotting machines

Scope

This European Standard specifies safety requirements for all the phases of the life of a machine listed in 3.11 of EN 292-1:1991. This standard applies for chain and belt slotting machines as prescribed in 3.1 and covers the following machines: a) chain slotting machine for open cast quarries; b) chain slotting machine for underground quarries; c) belt slotting machine; d) stationery chain or belt slotting machines.
