Machines and plants for mining and tooling of natural stone - Safety requirements for diamond wire saws

Scope

This European Standard specifies safety requirements for all the phases of the life of a machine listed in 3.11 of EN 292-1:1991. This standard applies for diamonds wire saws as prescribed in 3.1 and covers the following machines: a) movable wire saw (see figure 1 and 2); b) stationary wire saw (see figure 3).
