Scope

This standard defines the requirements for, and test methods for, sound reduction of doors (as defined in ENxxx, currently elaborated by CEN/TC 33/ WG 5/TG 1). This standard applies to fully assembled doors, as defined in ENxxx, if the sound insulation of the product is to be determined. Note: The type of products this standard is intended for, are normally not used for sound reduction purposes mainly, and therefore do not have to be tested.
