Fixed firegfighting systems - Components for gas extinguishing systems - Part 14: Requirements and test methods for isolating valves

Scope

This standard specifies the performance criteria for heat exposure and flame resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, vibration/pressure resistance, response delay, operational reliability and sensitivity (ability to ensure pressure tight within specified tolerances) for isolating valves for low pressure containers in CO2 extinguishing systems used for fire suppression. This standard includes the corresponding test methods and the evaluation of conformity of the product to this standard.
