Scope

This European Standard specifies the principal strength performance requirements of solid and corrugated fibreboard grades for packaging purposes. Solid fibreboard is determined by specifying one of two independent performance properties enabling the classification of the materials (see 8.1). Corrugated fibreboard is determined either or both of two independent performance properties enabling the classification of the materials (see 8.2). The specification does not give guidance on the connection between grades and the end use.
