Scope

This Part of this European standard specifies methods for measuring overall migration of plastic materials and articles with a substitute test medium at temperatures greater than or equal to 100°C. In this substitute procedure the mass of components adsorbed on modified polyphenylene oxide (MPPO) is taken as a measure for the assessment of the overall migration into olive oil.
