Chemical analysis of ferrous materials - Recommendations for the drafting of standard methods of analysis employing flame atomic absorption spectrometry for the chemical analysis of iron and steel prCEN/TR 10321

Scope

To propose, validate and revise routine and referee methods for the analysis of steels by wet
chemistry analysis (gravimetry, titration, spectrophotometry, atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS),
inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), etc.).
The selection of the topics to be handled are based either on the result of enquiries launched by
CEN/TC 459/SC 2 or on proposals made within the WG.
WG 10 also aims to prepare guidelines related with the spectrometric techniques.
