Methods of test for winding wires - Part 1: General

Scope

This standard relates the methods of test for winding wires, irrespective of the shape of the conductor, the conductor material and the type of insulation ( Litz wires are not covered by this standard (Bunched wires consist of a number of small diameter enamelled wires laid-up together without predetermined geametrical position and with or without additional covering - Litz wires are built up by successive stranding of wires or groups of wires in groups of three)
