The intention is to add safety valves for pressures above 5 bar up to and including 20 bar into EN 161. In consequence a scope extension relating to maximum inlet pressures up to and including 2 MPa (20 bar) for safety valves would be needed. However, the requirements for valves up to 5 bar shall remain unchanged. It is planed to include further test requirements for pressures ranging between 5 bar and 20 bar.
