European Norm
This European Standard specifies the safety requirements and type tests for brake vehicles intended for use in underground mines. This EN identifies and takes account of the hazards arising from the use in mines of such equipment and describes methods for the elimination or reduction of these hazards and for the safeguarding of personnel machinery. These hazards are listed under clause 4.
