To define a simple test based on rheological behaviour, like flow through a funnel to differentiate Milk of lime or lime slurry from lime putty.
With today’s technologies, Milk of lime and lime putty with the same solid content can be put on the market with the same designation. No clear specification is made for differentiating between the two states (milk or yoghurt) a test method is required.
