This document provides guidelines for maintenance, repair and refurbishing that lead to an extension of the lifetime of a product in the use phase of the product.
This document defines a set of criteria for assessing the ability of priority parts of products in terms of maintenance, repair and refurbishing.
The criteria are intended to be used in the design of a product and are applicable to different designs, materials, or construction methods.
This document does not provide a method for assessing the overall degree of circularity of furniture products. For this additional complementary evaluation methods for other aspects are necessary.
This document does not provide a method on the basis of which a decision can be made on the usefulness and/or cost-effectiveness for repair and refurbishment.
