Scope

The standard is intended to give guidance on the selec􀆟on of the most appropriate characteris􀆟cs and performances of the method, considering the current state of the art of scien􀆟fic instruments and knowledge. The general criteria for the opera􀆟on and assessment of tes􀆟ng laboratories as well as the general criteria for laboratory accredita􀆟on bodies are set out in EN ISO/IEC 17025.
