Scope

This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of the deuterium to hydrogen isotope ratios (D/H)I and (D/H)II of ethanol, produced from the fermentation of fruit juices, by natural abundance 2H-NMR spectroscopy with a view to detecting and quantifying the addition of exogenous sugars.
