Scope

This CEN/TS focuses on the product requirements and execution of preloaded bolting assemblies made of austenitic and duplex stainless steel including:

(a) product requirements for bolting assemblies made of austenitic and duplex stainless steel for preloading,
(b) suitability test for preloading,
(c) evaluation of conformity, e. g. FPC
(d) bolt tightening qualification procedure (BTQP)
(e) tightening methods and
(f) inspection requirements.
