Scope

This standard shall apply to mobile concrete pumps with placing boom.

A mobile concrete pump with placing boom is a truck-mounted machine or similar for the conveying of concrete via delivery lines with and without additional functions in accordance with EN 12001, Annex A, Figure A.1 b) equipped with a placing boom and a dedicated support structure in accordance with EN 12001, Annex A, Figure A.5, Item 1a and Item 1b.

This standard addresses truck mixers with placing boom only insofar as the use thereof corresponds to that of a truck-mounted concrete pump - the statements in this standard are therefore incomplete for truck mixers with placing boom, but can be used as a guidance.
