Technical Report

Scope

The project will result in a Technical Report that addresses further scoping of future Work Items in respect of the standardisation of an integrated, multi‐service technical interface offering a single access facility (a Commonly Agreed Interface) combining information from different traffic and transport domains, including road traffic, public transport, parking, multimodal journey planning, flight information. The purpose of the interface is to enable integrated and transparent access to data sources/services in such domains, distributed or centralised, usually (but not necessarily always) operated by public organisations at e.g. city or regional level, and provide a harmonised B2B interface layer allowing third party organisations (e.g. Traffic Information Service Providers) to reuse such information for the provision of value‐added services.
