This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of ochratoxin A content in cocoa powder by HPLC with clean –up on immunoaffinity column. It has been validated in an inter-laboratory study for cocoa powder at levels ranging from 0,2 µg/kg and 1,5 µg/kg. The limit of detection was 0,05 µg/kg and the limit of quantification was 0,1 µg/kg.
