Scope

This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of hydrogen in steel. The determination will be performed on the sample taken from molten steel. The sample taken from the solid state does not represent the hydrogen content of the steel melt in question. The method can be applied in hydrogen contents from 0,1 ppm up to 50 ppm.
