Rod rolling mills, bar mills and structural steel rolling mills

Scope

Plant and equipment used for the rolling of rods, bars sections and structural steel from the ingoing material feed station, the forming stations, the subsequent finishing equipment to the exit to storage. The following equipment is excluded: furnaces in accordance with prEN 746; hook conveyors (see TC 148); storage equipment (e.g. high-bay warehouses, cranes); casting machines of combined continuous casting and rolling equipment.
