This European Standard gives guidance on the development of dimensional coordination within the fields of packaging, transport, handling and storage, based on the area module 600 mm x 400 mm. It does not contain terminology or detailed rules of application, which subjects are dealt with in parts 2 and 3 of this standard respectively.
