Scope

This part of ISO 787 specifies a method for determining the relative tinting strength of colorants and the residual colour difference between the test colorant and a reference colorant when the values of the tinting strength criterion are the same. The method is suitable for testing of colorants in reduction with a white pigment, in textiles, paper, solutions, transparent coating materials or printing inks on a white substrate if relevant theories are used.
