Scope

This draft specifies the geometry of the test piece and the method for the quasistatic shear tensile testing at point-shaped mechanically joined detachable and permanent connections at single lap jointed components up to a thickness of maximum 4,5 mm.
The target of the shear tensile test is to determine the mechanical characteristic values and types of failure of the joining .
