Specification for mortar for masonry - Part 3: Rendering and plastering mortar with organic polymer binding agents

Scope

This European Standard is applicable to mortar containing organic polymer binding agents as the principal binder used for external rendering and internal plastering. It contains definitions, applications properties and final performance requirements. Fire resistant and acoustical mortars, mortars for structural repair and surface treatments of building elements such as materials for smoothing or trueing, paints or similar coatings and prefabricated units (e.g. plaster boards) are not dealt within this standard.
