Stationary training equipment - Part 3: Additional specific safety requirements and test methods for institutional strength training equipment (type S)

Scope

This standard specifies safety requirements for stationary strength training equipment type S during use in addition to the general safety requirements of EN 136.004.1-1. This standard applies to all types of stationary equipment (hereafter known as training equipment) for use in training areas of organisations such as sport associations, educational establishments, hotels, clubs and studios (type S), where access and control is specifically regulated by the owner (person who has the legal responsibility).
