Scope

This European standard is applicable to polyaluminium hydroxidechloride and hydroxidechloridesulfate, special grade, used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It specifies the characteristics of and the analytical methods for polyaluminium hydroxidechloride and hydroxidechloridesulfate which have to comply with special customers' requirements on a water plant such as high organic matter removal, extremely low residual aluminium, working conditions (e.g. pH range), etc. and gives information on their use in water.
