Scope

This part of EN 843 describes requirements and methods for undertaking tests to determine the resistance of the edges of brittle ceramic materials to damage by chipping or flaking. It is limited to homogeneous monolithic ceramics with flat surfaces and straight sharp or chamfered edges.
