Water cooled air conditioners - Part 3: Testing and requirements for marking prEN 814-3

Scope

This standard applies to water cooled air conditioners with electrically driven compressors of the following types: comfort air conditioners, control cabinet air conditioners, close control air conditioners. It specifies methods for testing and reporting of the performance when used for cooling and it gives requirements for marking. This standard does not apply to continuously variable capacity control units. It does not apply to devices intended for both cooling and heating by reversing the cycle, which are dealt with in EN 255. It specifies especially the products characteristics related to the air quality.
