Scope

This standard specifies a test method for the resistance to displacement or damage of an elastomeric seal when a pipe spigot and pipe or fitting socket are assembled whilst subject to angular deviation. The method is particulary intended for thermoplastics pipes and fittings for buried non-pressure applications with outside diameters in the range 110 mm to 200 mm.
