Hardening sealing materials for thread joints in contact with combustible gases prEN 751

Scope

This standard specifies requirements and test methods for hardening sealing material (hereafter referred to as "sealing materials", e.g. anaerobic jointing compounds) suitable to seal metallic thread joints according to table 1 which at operating temperatures of -20°C up to 150°C come in contact with combustible gases (1st, 2nd and 3rd family gases, not including LPG in the liquid phase).
