Scope

This European Standard describes a method for determining the indentation hardness of rubber floor coverings by means of durometer (Shore A hardness). The method is an empirical test primarily intended for control purposes in the laboratory. No simple relationship exists between indentation hardness determined by this method and any fundamental property of the material tested
