This European Standard specifies product characteristics, test methods and performance criteria for aspirating smoke detectors for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings and civil engineering works.
This European Standard provides for the assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP) of aspirating smoke detectors to this EN.
>> Note: This scope is as proposed in TC72/N3121 which aims to achieve consistency across the EN 54 series.
