Revision of DIN 44 801 part 3 - Surface contamination meters and monitors for alpha, beta and gamma radiation - Part 3: Meters for hands, feet and clothes

Scope

This standard gives specifications for portable contamination meters for hands, feet and clothes for alpha and beta radiation and for portable and installed contamination meters for hands, feet and clothes for gamma radiation. Specifications for installed surface contamination meters for alpha and beta radiation are given in DIN IEC 1098. The new edition of DIN 44 801 part 3 is in accordance with those parts of the further edition of DIN 44 801 part 3 (october 1987) that are not replaced by DIN IEC 1098.
