Scope

This project includes requirements for control circuits and circuits for other auxiliary purposes in electrical low voltage installations. This standard particularly specifies essential requirements regarding proper performance and safety functions of such circuits. The requirements apply to control circuits which are not in the scope of other standards (e.g. for machines EN 60204-1), that means control circuits e.g. of following systems: - Access and intrusion guarding systems, - Fire detection and fire fighting systems, - Medical facilities, - Stand-by supply systems - Installation-bus systems - Call-systems, - Video supervision, e.g. control of cameras - Conference equipment
