The electrical temperature sensors definded in this standard are composed of RTD or thermocouple insets and connection heads of cylindrical shage, with a minimum inner diameter of 45 mm and concentric located two threaded M4-fixing holesat 33 mm distance and a centerhole of at minimum 21 mm diameter with or withoutthermowells/pockets and extension tubes, indicating the type and the length of the inset to be used with. The RTD and thermocouple with or without thermowell/pocket are used in liquids, vapors and gases. The choice of the material for th inset sheath or the thermowell depends on the medium in which it is used
