Scope

This standard defines functional and electrical characteristics of automatic cashes for the fee collection with vehicle stop. This standard applies to cashes without personnel attending, and allowing several means of payment. It does not apply to devices using radio-link or other principles allowing the collection of fee without stopping. This standard is related to design, installation and maintenance of such devices, and deals with the aspects of safety, reliability and testing.
