Scope

This standard applies to capacitors with electrical impact loading e.g. in power electronic equipment and in other applications involving electrical impact loading. It applies to self-healing capacitors with paper, film or mixed dielectric with and without internal fuses. This standard may also be used as applicable for non self-healing capacitors.
