Scope

This standard applies for electrical direct heating appliances with heat dissipation through radiation, natural and forced convection which are of the portable, stationary, fixed, incorporated or ceiling-mounted type and are intended for use in household and similar purposes. It is also applicable for combined appliances. It specifies test methods for the determination of performance characteristics of these appliances.
