Scope

Part 1 of the standard specifies the general requirements for the construction, testing and performance of carbon monoxide (CO) remote sensors, powered by mains or low voltage systems, with proportional output, for the detection of carbon monoxide (CO) designed for continuous operation in a fixed installation in warning and air treatment systems for indoor car parking and garages with public access - Part 2 of the standard specifies the general requirements for the construction, testing and performance of control units (CU)and control indicating equipment (CIE) employed in fixed installations for the detection of carbon monoxide (CO) for indoor car parking and garages with public access -The CU/CIE complying with this standard are provided for connection to CO remote sensors complying with Part 1 of this same standard
