Scope

The standard proposal shall apply for traction batteries 24 V , 48 V, and 80 V with cells according to DIN EN 60254-2 for electrical industrial trucks operated in environments were explosive atmospheres can exist (ATEX). It shall contain technical statements concerning battery dimensions, weights, electrical circuit connections of cells and battery and tray characteristics.
